Charles Louw has an extensive career in the fields of architecture and management since graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University .

His work experience includes a broad base covering fields of Educational, Healthcare, Commercial, Residential, Heritage, Resort and Forensic architecture. He has been the President of the Eastern Cape Institute of Architects (2002-2004) and has been a ECIA representative of the SAIA Practice & Professional Development Committee (2000-2002) and is a Trustee of “The Architectural Profession Indemnity Group Insurance Scheme Trust” (2003- Present), as well a Professional Practice Moderator for the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (2004-Present).
